The Blue Hour is the eighth studio album by English alternative rock band Suede. The album was released on 21 September 2018. It was the first Suede album since A New Morning not to be produced by longtime producer Ed Buller, and the first to be produced by Alan Moulder. The concept for The Blue Hour began in May 2016, when lead singer Brett Anderson, guitarist Richard Oakes and keyboardist Neil Codling wrote the song "Mistress"; a song about a boy's realisation of his father's affair.
After Hours" is a 1969 song written by Lou Reed and originally performed by The Velvet Underground. It is the tenth and final track on their self-titled third album. It is one of few songs with lead vocals by drummer Maureen Tucker, as Lou Reed stated the song was "so innocent and pure" that he could not possibly sing it himself. Tucker's vocals are accompanied by acoustic and bass guitar. The style of the lyrics and the music is somewhat reminiscent of Tin Pan Alley songs of the 1930s.
If you close the door, the night could last forever Leave the sunshine out and say hello to never All the people are dancing and they're having such fun I wish it could happen to me. But if you close the door I'd never have to see the day again. If you close the door, the night could last forever Leave the wineglass out and drink a toast to never Oh, someday I know someone will look into my eyes And say hello - you're my very special one-.

Now she’s stepping back into the spotlight with her her first new solo album in 51 years. Matt Mead interviews the sou. ustyblues. It’s Krautrock, Jim, but not as we know it – not least because it comes from Chile. Echoing guitars and vocals characterise the rough and ready sound The 9. Blue 05 sees Forest Drive West contributing two slow-burning, bass-heavy excursions into murky techno, while on Blue 06 Pugilist experiments with dubby textures and dense, layered percussion over three tracks.
Like any great Blue Note album of the 1950’s, everyone is high on heroin. Reefer madness was around the corner, so the possibility of grass is likely too. This album swings. Horace Silver’s Total Response album comes out on top of my long list close behind would be Donald Byrd’s Places and Spaces mainly for the Mizell factor (can’t do this without mentioning that album). With Lee Morgan joining the fray on trumpet, this ensemble captures a sound, time and place with effortlessness poise. The album flows gently and naturally from one track to the next, with Shorter’s gorgeous melodies complimenting themselves throughout the record, deftly interwoven through each tune.
