The Loveless - They Don't Know flac mp3
You Don't Even Know Who I Am" is a song recorded by American country music artist Patty Loveless. It was released in March 1995 as the third single from her album When Fallen Angels Fly. The song is a ballad that describes the end of a marriage where both spouses realize they have become complete strangers over time. The first verse describes the wife's decision to leave her ring on the pillow in their bedroom and a letter on the fridge, describing her feelings of distance towards her husband.
The band’s 1991 album Loveless took three years, more than a dozen engineers, and as many studios to make. The band spent so much money on it that their label, Creation, dropped them after its release, despite it being hailed as an instant classic. And the travails of recording Loveless turned out to be a sign of things to come. For the better part of 20 years, fans wondered when a follow-up to Loveless might arrive, and in interviews, Shields often said it was right around the corner.
When I look at you Oh, I don't know what's real Once in a while And you make me laugh And I'll see you tomorrow And it won't be long Once in a while Then you take me down Then you walk away. When you say "I do" Oh, I don't believe in you I can't forget it, ooh When you sleep tomorrow And it won't be long Once in a while When you make me smile And you turn your long blonde hair. When You Sleep is track 5 on MBV’s 1991 album Loveless. The album’s sound was dominated by the ideas of lead vocalist and guitarist Kevin Shields, who wrote this entire song. When You Sleep was also the first single from the album, released in November of 1991.
The Trouble with the Truth is the eighth album by country music artist Patty Loveless. It peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Top Country albums charts, and number 86 on the Pop charts. It was certified Platinum for shipments of over 1,000,000 copies in the . The singles "Lonely Too Long" and "You Can Feel Bad" both made number 1 on the Hot Country Songs charts; "She Drew a Broken Heart" hit number 4. "A Thousand Times a Day" and the title track both made Top 20 hitting number 13 and 15 respectively.
And Kirsty MacColl's "They Don't Know" is a pretty inspired choice for a cover. At the age of 23, Loveless is still young enough to be fearless, but she's matured enough as an artist to make something truly special out of her stories, and Somewhere Else confirms she's the most strikingly accomplished woman to emerge in roots rock since Neko Case. It's anyone's guess where Loveless will go from here, but she's already made an album that's genuinely dazzling, and Somewhere Else sounds like a real contender for best album of 2014.
Jaron Boyer, Josh Mirenda, Kurt Allison). They call us a two lane just passing by slow down town Yeah they say what’s there to do when you ain’t got nothin’ around Just a few street lights, speed limit signs that all say 25 But those folks ain’t lived in our lives. CHORUS They ain’t seen the blood sweat and tears it took to live their dream When everything’s on the line Ain’t just another field just another farm No it’s the ground we grew up on They think it’s a middle of nowhere place where we take it slow Aw but they don’t know
