Follow up single Strictly Hardcore dented the national chart and the band began touring across Europe, building a substantial fan base. Testify! features a full set from the band in Blackpool, England 2005 along with promo videos for five of their single releases and other bonus footage courtesy of John.

2006 saw Goldblade release their first live DVD 'Testify' (Cherry Red Records) filmed in Blackpool during Christmas 2005, it ideally demonstrated the experience that is Goldblade live, the energy, the chaos, the entire audience on stage!! Goldblade then toured with Stiff Little Fingers, The Misfits and The Damned, in addition to performing all over the UK for their own headline sets  . 2013 sees the band release their new album, 'The Terror Of Modern Life'.

The follow up album 1998's Goldblade Drop the Bomb was their first worldwide release and saw the band get daytime radio play and and mainstream TV appearances and daytime radio play with their single Hairstyle with was heading for the UK top 40 when their record label went bust. At the same time Mel Gibson's label, Hollywood Records were about to sign the band at the request of the actor for a big push in the USA but the collapse of their UK label ruined this. After the label meltdown many bands would have split up, but in love with the rock n roll Goldblade simply went underground and released their third album on the label set up by Brian Guthrie, the brother of Cocteau Twins Robin. During this period the band toured constantly and because a big festival hit at the Rebellion punk festival and Glastonbury.

Testify is the sixth studio album by American Christian rock band . It was originally set for a December 2005 release but finally slated for January 24, 2006 by Atlantic Records. s first major-label album not produced by Howard Benson. It was also their last album with Jason Truby on guitar, before he left the band in December 2006
