Björk is the only studio album by Icelandic singer Björk Guðmundsdóttir as a child singer, released on 18 December 1977 by Fálkinn. In 1976, Björk appeared on Icelandic radio singing "I Love to Love" through the music school she attended, which led her to a record deal and the release, with the help of stepfather Sævar, of her first solo album in 1977.

After their break-up, Björk traveled to London, where she became interested in the burgeoning dance scene, which would inform much of her solo musical direction from there on. In 1992, "Debut" was released, Björk's first solo venture since she was 11 years ol. Björk's following releases continued to find critical acclaim, most notably in the UK, spawning several remix albums of her work subsequently. In 2000, Björk was also named 'Best Actress' at the Cannes Film Festival for her performance in Lars Von Trier's "Dancer in the Dark. Alongside her solo efforts, Björk also created several film soundtracks, helping to diversify her work. Björk continued to be ambitious in her scope for musical exploration, creating the concept album "Biophillia," which explored humanity's interaction with the natural world, most notably its geological landscape, and how music reflects this.

Kendrick Lamar To Pimp a Butterfly (Top scope) Monumentally ambitious and just as ambivalent, Kendrick Lamar shoulders a spokesman’s burdens on To Pimp a Butterfly, an album-length immersion in all the choices and contradictions facing a rapper with a conscience.

Björk sings about love and romance all over the album, in cerebral sex ballads like "Heirloom" and "Unison. When she gasps and whispers her way through "Cocoon," shocked to find herself in the presence of a boy "restoring my blisses," she captures the sound of two lovers nestling on a melting iceberg.
