Recorded 1955 at The Hangover Club in San Francisco, California on September 10 (tracks 11 to 13), September 17 (tracks 7 to 10) and September 24 (tracks 1 to 6). Tracks 1 to 10 and 12 were a part of the Storyville LP Earl Hines At Club Hangover, Vol. 5 (SLP 263), tracks 11 and 13 were previously unissued.
