Evgeny Igorevich Nikitin (born 30 September 1973 in Murmansk 1) is a Russian bass-baritone opera singer. He entered the Saint Petersburg conservatory in 1992. Aged 23, he has become a soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre and was soon invited to major theaters and festivals through Europe, the Americans and Asia. Prize-winner at the International Tchaikovsky Competition (1998, Moscow). Recipient of the Golden Sofit, St Petersburg’s most prestigious theatre prize, for the role of Grigory Gryaznoi in the opera The Tsar’s Bride ( Best role in musical theatre, 2005). 1 Murmansk is located on the Kola Peninsula in northern European Russia on the Barents Sea (not in Siberia!).

Evgeny Igorevich Kissin (Russian: Евге́ний И́горевич Ки́син, romanized: Evgénij Ígorevič Kísin; born 10 October 1971) is a Russian classical pianist. He has been a British citizen since 2002 and an Israeli citizen since 2013. He first came to international fame as a child prodigy. He has a wide repertoire and is especially known for his interpretations of the works of the Romantic era, particularly those of Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms and Sergei Rachmaninoff
