1] Freddie Hughes recorded "Send My Baby Back", which was also a top 20 R&B hit. On the strength of this hit, Wand Records released an album of the same name. He recorded "Send My Baby Back" on Lonnie Hewitt's Wee Records, and when the record became popular, it was leased to Wand. He also recorded "I Just Found Out" with Janus Records.

Freddie Hughes had the distinction of being one of the last successful artists on Vee Jay Records before the label collapsed in the mid-'60s. In 1965, he charted a pair of Top 20 R&B singles with "Oo Wee Baby, I Love You" and "You Can't Take It Away. He moved on to Scepter Records' Wand imprint and scored another hit with "Send My Baby Back," co-written, produced, and arranged by Lonnie Hewitt, which got to number 20 on the R&B charts and number 94 pop, sufficient to get him a chance to do a complete album for the label.

Guest vocalist LaToya London appears on "Send My Baby Back," a 1968 hit by Berkeley vocalist Freddie Hughes. London additionally materializes in a duet on the title track 'Just Like Magic. Several songs from "Just Like Magic" are featured in the upcoming film "Tears of a Clown" featuring BET Comedian .  . On keys Kev Choice has supported such artists as Michael Franti & Spearhead, Goapele, Too Short, Martin Luther, Jennifer Johns, DJ Quik and Zion I. Music can be heard from Keyboardist Sundra Manning who is most well known for her collaborative work alongside Grammy Nominated vocalist Ledisi on the debut album Soulsinger.
