Willie Nelson - The Troublemaker flac mp3
The Troublemaker is the twentieth studio album by country singer and songwriter Willie Nelson. When Nelson refused to sign an early extension of his contract with RCA in 1972, the label decided not to release any further recordings. Nelson hired Neil Reshen as his manager, and while Reshen negotiated with RCA, Nelson moved to Austin, Texas, where the ongoing hippie music scene at the Armadillo World Headquarters renewed his musical style.
The Troublemaker (LP, Album). The Troublemaker (LP, Album).
Released in late 1976, at the height of Willie mania, The Troublemaker is Willie Nelson's first all-gospel album, but country gospel in his hands doesn't sound like traditional country gospel - it's a Willie album, through and through, performed with the freewheeling Family as support.
The Troublemaker, Nelson’s latest release, was actually recorded for Atlantic almost three years ago Sales of his two previous albums for that label apparently weren’t enough to warrant the release of this one, a collection of white gospel songs. But the big success of The Outlaws and Red Headed Stranger and the Willie/Waylon sweep of the Country Music Association Awards have since ensured that Nelson could record Hamlet and still command healthy sales. The excellence of The Troublemaker as a white gospel’ album is not at issue. Moreover, the songs on the Tillman album, all recorded during the late Forties and early Fifties, bear a striking resemblance to the pre-Outlaw Willie songs - it is not many steps from Tillman’s I Gotta Have My Baby Back to Nelson’s Hello Walls.
