Gary Numan (born Gary Anthony James Webb on 8 March 1958) is an English singer, composer, and musician, most widely known for his chart-topping 1979 hits "Are 'Friends' Electric?" The following is a comprehensive discography of Gary Numan, a British singer, songwriter and musician. Numan (born Gary Webb, 1958) released his first record in 1978 as part of the outfit Tubeway Army. Initially unsuccessful, the band scored a huge hit in 1979 with the single "Are Friends Electric" and their second album Replicas, both of which reached number one in the UK. Numan then decided to release further recordings under his own name, beginning with the single "Cars" later in 1979.

BABYLON released their one and only album in 1978, locally on the . Artists label (it also says "Mehum Music" on the label, as well, but only on side one of the LP). In 1989, a small, up and coming prog label out of California owned by Greg Walker called Syn-Phonic released two albums of live archival material, "Night over Never" and "Better Conditions" for the DEAD. For the most part, Doroccas sounds absolutely NOTHING like Gabriel at all, if anything, his voice oddly enough makes me think of Gary Numan with a bit more facility. At times alien and detached sounding ("Mote in God's Eye"), others far more down to earth ("Before The Fall"). The band's live shows took their cues from Genesis in the respect of using films, slides and props.

Dance is the third solo studio album by English musician Gary Numan, released in 1981. It was the first studio album Numan released after his "Farewell Concerts" staged at Wembley Arena (although Numan would return to performing live shows in 1982). Dance features the UK Top 10 single "She's Got Claws". The album itself reached on the UK charts

Starting with collections from Love and Rockets and Gary Numan, Beggars Banquet this spring will launch a new series of five-album catalog box sets designed to help keep slower selling titles in print, an effort the label acknowledges may be the last chance to present the albums as physical releases. The 5 Albums box sets from Love and Rockets and Gary Numan are each due out May 13, along with a collection from former Transglobal Underground singer Natacha Atlas, are due out May 13. Collections from Bauhaus, The Fall, The Charlatans, The Icicle Works, Gene Loves Jezebel, Fields of the Nephilim and Buffalo Tom are expected to follow in spring and summer.
