It's hard to beat the system When we're standing at a distance So we keep waiting Waiting on the world to change. Now if we had the power To bring our neighbors home from war They would have never missed a Christmas No more ribbons on their door And when you trust your television What you get is what you got Cause when they own the information, oh They can bend it all they want. That's why we're waiting Waiting on the world to change We keep on waiting Waiting on the world to change

The Inner Mounting Flame is the debut studio album by multinational jazz-rock fusion band Mahavishnu Orchestra, released in August 1971 by Columbia Records. After their formation, the group performed several debut gigs before they entered the studio to record their first album featuring all original material written by guitarist John McLaughlin.

Eternal Flame is Do As Infinity's seventh studio album, released on September 30, 2009. The band had disbanded in September 2005, but reformed three years later in September 2008. This is the first new album the band released after reforming, and is the first album by the band not to have Dai Nagao on the staff, though his song "Tangerine Dream" was remixed as a bonus track.

The album assembles a roots-rock dream team that includes famous names like John Prine, Duane Eddy, and Mark Knopfler, but also seasoned Nashville tunesmiths like Luke Dick, Michael Heeney, and David Ferguson. But Waiting on a Song could be his first record without a drop of the blues in the mix, with Auerbach favoring the less gruff, more melodic register in his voice atop a studio-smoothed concoction of country, soul, folk, and power pop.

John Stephen French (born 29 September 1948) is an American drummer. He played on Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica album and several other Beefheart recordings. Beefheart gave him the nickname "Drumbo". Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band. 1994 Waiting on the Flame. 2007 Crazy Backwards Alphabet II. 2008 City of Refuge.
