Suddenly my world has changed And I just wonder why All it took was just one smile. Now it's you Out of the blue Love appeared Before my eyes with you Dream come true I never thought I'd realize What love was, what love was What love was Here with you. We are together now Never take my heart away All the love I found Is here to stay (out of the blue). I've been listening to Debbie's first 2 albums for nostalgia purposes, but somehow I always find her debut album as superior to Electric Youth, bec. I like 9 out of 10 songs. We all love the obvious Foolish Beat which is still hands down the best song on the album, and so does the other hits Only in my Dreams, Shake your Love and Out of the Blue. The single Staying Together which is probably the only track I didn't like the first time I listen to, but after repeated plays, yeah it grows on you.

I remember when this album hit 31 years ago with Only In My Dreams as the lead single. Instant crush...I wore out the tape. Looking back now, it's still the standard-bearer for teen pop, but the most impressive part to me is that Debbie Gibson wrote the whole dang album. That's talent.
